River bank erosion at a location in rural Devon required remedial action. We worked closely with the Westcountry Rivers Trust, the Environment Agency and the local landowner to decide on the best course of action. We were able to select and use timber from trees on site to complete the revetment works. The adaptability of our machinery was put to good use in excavating the bank, completing the revetment works and installing the rock armour, which was used for extra protection. This project was completed on time and within budget, to the satisfaction of all agencies involved.
